The house in the center of the village collects rainwater inside the home to use as drinking water. This is because even when wells are dug, the water is salty.
I wanted to see what the roof looked like, so I got a ride in an airplane to fly overhead and look at it. These houses are in the Casamance region of Senegal, Africa.
